The Long Fall

This year the Dwarf Maples are doing great and have produced some wonderful colors that have survived through all of October.

Now its time to cut back some plants, rake leaves, and prepare for the long winter.

  1. That little guy behind the round window (opening?) is doing really well. He looks happy.

  2. Its done well all summer - loved the more shady area and the soil there was better as well. We also had a lot of rain this summer. I did minimal trimming and am going to wait until he goes dormant to clean him up a bit. I don't want him to get too full. I like the Bonsai look in the window.
