Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden

Catherine took me to see the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem, NY. The garden is one of only two Japanese gardens open to the public in New York state. It was very early, so not much was in bloom, and in fact, the museum was closed when we arrived. Nevertheless, we were able to stroll the grounds. I will need to return before fall so I can see the garden in color.

Here is some history related to the garden and Natalie Hays Hammond, the designer of the garden: Hammond Museum/Garden History
